可以容纳生活的空间，是温柔的，是丰富的，是变化的，是灵动的。

The space that can contain a life, it is gentle, it is rich, it is changeable, it is clever.

 

记得有人问米开朗基罗是如何创作出“大卫”的，他这样回答“很简单，我去采石场，看见一块巨大的大理石，我在它身上看到了大卫。我要做的只是凿去多余的石头”。对于空间来说也是这样，在习以为常的事物之中发现美，找到“大卫”后，剩下的就是去除多余的部分，一点点捏造出来而已。

I remember Michelangelo was asked how he created David, and he said, "Quite simply, I go to a quarry, and I see a huge marble, and I see David on it. All I have to do is chipping away the extra stones. The same is true of space, where beauty is found in the things we take for granted, and "David" is found, and the rest is to remove the excess and make it up little by little.

 

当然，空间作为人的外部载体，两者之间能否产生良性化学反应才是重要之处。新与旧，古典或者时尚新潮，靓丽或者淳朴自然亦或真切，把这些集结起来，创造出全新的记忆。生活里每一片时光，每一片色彩，每一段声音，每种细微不可察觉的气味，把它们摺叠起来，存放到空间的每一个角落。然后这些可触碰，亲近的滴滴点点形成居住的凝聚力。

Of course, as the external carrier of human beings, it is the benign chemical reaction between the two that is important. New and old, classic or fashionable, beautiful or simple natural or real, assemble these, create a new memory. Every piece of time, every piece of color, every sound, every subtle imperceptible smell in life, fold them up and store them in every corner of the space. And then these touchable, intimate drops form the glue of living.
